The chalet
We have been the proud owners of our chalet since the winter of 2004. As keen skiers and boarders ourselves that have been on many ski holidays throughout the years throughout Europe and North America we knew where we wanted our own chalet to be and that was Morzine! The chalet is centrally located on the southerly side of Morzine so there is plenty of sun on the large balcony all day until it disappears over the hills in the late afternoon. Perfect for that après ski glass of wine or beer on the balcony! The views of the village and mountains of the Pleney side of Morzine are simply stunning and hours can be spent watching the world go by. It is just a 5-minute walk to the supermarket and the resort centre in one direction and 5 minutes to the gondola in the morning. Private parking for one car is available outside the chalet.
Description
The kitchen fixtures and fittings were all new last winter and are fully kitted out with everything for families or groups of friends. The open plan lounge and dining area have an open log fire that gives a warm and homely feel to the chalet. The lounge doors open out onto the large balcony that runs along the outside of the chalet. All the bedrooms are fresh, bright and airy with two of them being en suite. Downstairs is the master bedroom that opens out into the garden where you can have BBQ's in the good weather. There are also boot warmers fitted and a storage area for your skis or boards.
